Major Responsibilities

• Provide good service to our customers by building rapport, fulfilling their requests, and providing fast and accurate checkout service
• Create a good customer experience via delivering fast and accurate checkout service, prevent possible fraud (PLU # input, scan merchandise, transaction discrepancies, identify counterfeit/fake cards)
• Greet customers by providing good customer service with smiles and friendly enthusiasm
• Record totals of transactions and calculate total payments received during a time period accurately
• Monitor checkout stations to ensure that they are well-kept and are working appropriately; maintain checkout area cleanliness
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior

Major Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and product freshness following FIFO concept; ensure full display of various produce products
• Perform regular quality checks, follow procedures to process sub-standard products and manage shrinkage
• Prepare various produce for sales activities, including but not limited to sorting, cut, washing, weighing, packing and labeling various produce products and displaying them in the display cases
• Greet customers with good customer service, smiles, being friendly, and enthusiasm
• Assist customers in producing product selection and provide recommendations as required
• Maintain workplace cleanliness by washing and maintaining relevant work tools clean and well-kept
• Keep display cases and walk-in coolers clean and tidy

• Be prepared to stand a long time and to hands-on dealing with products and lifting of products of 40 pounds on a regular basis
• Able to use working related tools in a safe manner
• Be prepared to work in a low-temperature environment (0-4℃) and/or in a freezing environment (-18℃) occasionally
• Not allergic to handling frozen products, such as Milk, Cheese, etc.
• Able to communicate in English
